Not Quite…

Found out that I’m not completely home alone this week, because Dave has finished work.
We had our Navs oversight team end of year dinner yesterday, prepared by Annette and it was amazing… Full 3 course meal with lots of stuff I don’t know the name of but will try to describe anyway. The starter was garlic bread and some kind of salmon and watercress paste rolled up thing – very tasty but hard to describe, surrounded by baby tomatoes and green stuff. The main was a filo pastry smoked chicke and pumpkin and various extras pie, baked/grilled/yummy potatoes, honey glazed carrots and some greens – I remember asparagus and cucumber. (correct me if I’m wrong anyone who was there who reads this). The dessert was these awesome chocolate baskets full of fruit and vanilla and almond ice cream. All accompanied by some great wine. Then we had some after dinner mints thoughtfully provided by Ayley. I managed to come away not feeling like I’d eaten to much which was good, as that doesn’t often happen to me when there is yum food around, which made everything even better.
